Yesterday, another country made the acceptance of patent for invention of thermal spraying and corrosion control technology of solventless coatings invented by Zhejiang Longkey Corrosion Control Technology Co.,Ltd. Up to now, the number of the countries applied for the patent for invention of the technology has been more than 30, with the successful acceptance from Australia, Japan, Germany, Russia and Mexico.
Ningbo Xiangshan Corrosion Control Engineering Co.,Ltd, as the parent company of Longkey, is a qualified corrosion control enterprise in construction industry, which has made great achievement in corrosion control area these years and has been ranked No. 3 in China. In order to improve corrosion control technology and to occupy the commanding height of the technology in the world market, the constituent company Longkey was established in 2009. A R&D team made up of several domestic famous corrosion control experts, has succeeded in the realization of the synchronous R&D of corrosion control equipment and product, synchronous development of foreign economic relations and trade.
In 2010, the first large-scale steel pipe anticorrosive coating automatic production line in the world was developed independently by Longkey, which marked the first appearance and application of the most advanced thermal spraying and corrosion control technology of solventless coatings. The smooth finish of the large steel pipe is compared to mirror surface, with that technology after 8 processes, meeting all export technical requirements. Compared with the traditional technology, the processed steel pipe has been made great progress in anti-corrosion property, hardness, service life and work efficiency, which reduced the volatilization of solvent coating and less environment pollution.
The steel pipe pile anticorrosive product has been exported and applied in Perth Wharf of Rio Company in Australia, with general export 180,000 tons. Another three projects are also waiting for the soon supply of the product with contract amount over 23.55 million dollars in total. They’re pipe laying anticorrosion project of Bechtel and the one of steel pipe pile of BHP Billiton.
However, Longkey will never be satisfied with those achievements they made. Their anticorrosion technological innovation team are in the process of 7 new research and development projects. The second generation product of anticorrosive coating, normal steel pipe automatic coating system was successful and will be soon put into production in commission.
