Renovation of Shanty Towns Phase Ⅴ includes East Zhuangmu Lane, the former People’s Hospital Block and Donghou Lane Block of an overall floorage of 8,080,000 sq.m and 660 relocation households.Most of the houses are low and shabby and insufficient fire spacing in buildings. Taking everything into consideration, the county government has been determined to levy the blocks, which have almost been emptied. Besides, strong electric cables and weak electric pipelines are migrated. According to the programme, the blocks will be built into a traditional town style exhibition area along with the former shantytown development project, combined with residential, commercial and cultural functions.
