Changda Photovoltaic Power Project successfully realized power generation on June 29th. The project is the largest Fisher-Light complementary photovoltaic project in China, with a total installed capacity of 300,000 kW and an estimated average annual electricity generation of 340 million kwh. It is expected to generate an average of 340 million kilowatt-hours of electricity annually. According to the average standard coal consumption of thermal power generation, the standard coal can be saved by 100,000 tons and carbon dioxide emissions can be reduced by 270,000 tons per year on average.


The project has laid a solid foundation for 100% clean energy supply of electric energy in our county at the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan, and helped Zhejiang to take the lead in achieving the goal of "carbon peak and carbon neutral".


The Tidal Photovoltaic Project is located in the west coast of Gaotang Island. 637,000 monocrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules are laid on more than 4,500 mu of tidal flats, an area equivalent to 422 football fields. The upper space of the project is used for power generation, and the beach flat on the ground is used for aquaculture. The ecological, social and economic benefits are remarkable.
