Recently, the Zhejiang Federation of Overseas Chinese published the fourth batch of "Zhejiang Overseas Chinese International Cultural Exchange Base" list, where the former residence of Chen Hanzhang in Dongchen Township is ranked.

The former residence of Chen Hanzhang built in 1858 in the eighth year of Xianfeng in Qing Dynasty is a two-story siheyuan with green brick and wood structure, covering  construction scale of 2,784 square meters. In 2021, the city level international cultural exchange base for overseas Chinese was successfully established. In that year, Dongchen Township took overseas Chinese as the "bridge" and held the "Great Scholar Han Zhang · Derun Overseas Chinese Heart" reciting traditional Chinese classics in Chen Hanzhang's former residence to spread the voice of hometown. In the form of cloud live video broadcast, live performances were delivered to domestic and overseas at the same frequency, with a viewing rate of more than 10,000 people. Eight Xiangshan overseas students and Hanzhang Primary School students performed the chanting program, and 10 representatives of overseas descendants, overseas Chinese and overseas students of Chen Hanzhang sent blessings through video, which aroused strong reactions in the county and overseas Chinese community.
