Recently, the reconstruction project on Fishing Port North Road in Shipu Town  officially started construction. The project is the first sub-project among the EOD ones to start construction surrounded by Shipu Port in Xiangshan, marking the formal entry into construction stage of EOD projects with a total investment of 2.993 billion yuan.

It is reported that the renovation project of Fishing Port North Road is located in the central town of Shipu. Started from the coastal south line, the route moves from northwest to southeast, and ends up with the intersection of Fishing Port East Road and Fishing Port Middle Road, with a total length of 1.418 kilometers. Besides, with a total investment of 26 million yuan, the project is designed in accordance with the city's secondary trunk road with a design speed of 40 kilometers per hour and to be completed in July 2023 as scheduled.

Moreover, the project will optimize the alignment of the road so that the main stream will form a direct connection. In order to further improve the traffic conditions of  Fishing Port North Road and increase the comfort and safety of the road, a series of road renovation like the transformation of the intersection of Shipu East Station and the standardized layout of street parking will be launched.
