Since the implementation of the RCEP agreement two years ago, Xiangshan Customs has fully supported enterprises to make full use of the RCEP tax preferential policies to help enterprises enhance international competitiveness and actively integrate into the RCEP market. According to statistics, the cumulative value of export goods under RCEP under Xiangshan Jurisdiction has reached US $149 million, with an estimated tariff reduction of US $1,490,600 since the RCEP came into effect.

The approved exporter system, as an important RCEP origin certification facilitation measure, is an important direction for Xiangshan Customs service foreign trade enterprises to enjoy RCEP policy dividends. The enterprise can obtain the qualification of approved exporter, and independently issue the declaration of origin after being certified by the customs, which has the same effect as the certificate of origin issued by the customs, and enjoy the corresponding preferential treatment of tariff concessions. Up to now, two enterprises in Xiangshan region have passed the qualification recognition of approved exporters and independently issued 29 RCEP declarations of origin, with a value of $1,0446,500.

On June 2 last year, with the RCEP officially coming into force for the Philippines, the world's largest free trade agreement entered a new stage of full implementation. Xiangshan Customs has made multidimensional efforts and precise policies to implement "one enterprise, one policy" services for key enterprises under the jurisdiction and fully help import and export enterprises seize policy opportunities. Meanwhil, the RCEP policy in the jurisdiction is used to track the implementation effect of enterprises, and form practical experience results that can be promoted and replicated.

"If you want to enjoy the dividend of the agreement more efficiently, you need to be more proactive in getting familiar with the rules, mastering the rules and applying the rules." Xu Min, business manager of Ningbo Zhonghua Clothing Co., LTD., gave a thumbs up to the policy guidance of Xiangshan Customs. He also claims the company's products exported to Japan and Thailand can enjoy more tariff concessions after the RCEP agreement came into effect.
