What kind of development blueprint can accommodate children's imagination of the future?Recently, the County Natural Resources and Planning Bureau held an event called "Desired Life" - an exhibition of the overall territorial spatial planning results and a public participation activity at the People's Square.Through a combination of creative interactions, planning exhibitions, and immersive experiences, it attracted many citizens to participate and enabled more people to learn about the future blueprint of Xiangshan.

On November 22 last year, the *Xiangshan County Territorial and Spatial Master Plan (2020-2035)*(hereinafter referred to as the" Plan") was approved by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province. It can be seen that the special exhibition boards of the "Plan" placed at the event site systematically interpret the development goals and spatial layout strategies of Xiangshan County in the next 10 years in a vivid and graphic way, covering key contents such as ecological protection, urban-rural integration, transportation system, and industrial upgrading. The staff patiently answered the hot questions in combination with the content of the exhibition boards, making the professional planning more "down-to-earth". At the same time, a publicity and consultation desk is also set up to distribute promotional materials such as science - popularization posters about the content of the "Plan", environmental - friendly cloth bags, and urban - rural space jigsaw puzzles to the public. The public participation channels are extended through the form of "visualizing policies and materializing participation".
