Recently, the Department of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism of Zhejiang Province has announced the list of the third batch of provincial tourism and performing arts clusters and the third batch of excellent tourism and performing arts projects. The tourism and performing arts cluster of Xiangshan Film and Television City has been rated as the third batch of provincial tourism and performing arts clusters, and "The City of Fishery Light" in Shipu, Xiangshan as the third batch of provincial excellent tourism and performing arts projects.

Since its opening, Xiangshan Film and Television City has been constantly enriching its film and television shooting scenes, forming a continuous range of film and television shooting themes, and successfully building itself into a leading film and television base in China and the first real-scene film-themed amusement park in China.

On this basis, the scenic area has extended wonderful performing arts projects and created large-scale activities such as the Spring Festival Film and Television Temple Fair, the Outing Festival, the Film and Television Carnival, the Water Splashing Festival, and the Tang and Song Wonderful Night around major festivals throughout the year. Centering on popular film and television themes, immersive projects related to film and television have been created in multiple dimensions. Newly arranged performing arts programs and scripted murder mystery games have been introduced, allowing citizens and tourists to experience diverse film and television cultures.

As the first outdoor live-action performance show in a coastal area across the country, the coastal scene performance show City of Fishery Light in Xiangshan is based on the true story of rescuing sperm whales in Shipu, Xiangshan in April 2022. Relying on the unique ecological and natural conditions of mountains, sea, port, city and island in Shipu and the profound historical and cultural heritage, integrating multiple technical means such as projection, water show, lighting, etc., through performances such as mountain lighting, laser show, interaction between mermaids and humans, and combination of mountains and sea, in the open space of the coastal outdoors, it creates an all-round light and shadow visual feast for the audience.  

Tourism performances have opened a new window for tourists to experience the cultural charm of Xiangshan, and also promoted cultural dissemination, injecting more vitality into the tourism economy.
